This sounds very much like Witchman (naturally enough, considering John Roome is both Gold Water and Witchman) with the rhythms removed or at least slowed down. That's not a bad thing, as he is very accomplished at constructing involved soundscapes that resonate full of sound. There really aren't many elements layered here - usuallly just a few are noticed in each track - but his touch is deft and interesting. No real surprises pop up (snatches of dialogue, found sounds, and bursts of static are pretty much par for the course in isolationist/dubby musics), which makes for pleasant listening; the high quality and fidelity of the recording are wonderful.

For as few elements as are deployed the results are very creditable, and since some elements are mixed so low as to be unheard, repeat listenings are rewarded.
