A-side with pounding worked up and almost gnarly techno by SVN, feat. vocals by Paleo. Flip-to-B an. Vinyl - Grab your copy. Flip-to-B and dive into a ultra deep chorded stabber by AU for those hours hanging in the air, also this side features Paleo on vocals - giving it a spiritual transit - from the energy in the room when produced. HeavyDeep Sleeper . AU is a duo made up of SVN and DNL, whose last record came out on General Elektro, a precursor to SUED and Acido that went silent in 2012. Here the pair take turns teaming up with Paleo, a vocalist who's popped up once or twice before with this crew. The results, as usual, are varied, understated and weirdly addictive. From the off, SVN's On Tempo is pure anxiety, with hectic arpeggios, strobing hi-hats and a slithering bassline. Paleo's deadpan voice occasionally cues a change in the chords or the drum patterns, until the track finally dissolves in a glitchy coda. It Takes Time: 1991-1993 - Dimage. Fantastic record. Stuck "It Takes Time" on before I had a lifesaving operation last year (60% chance of success) and I didn't die. Some say that my Discogs reviews are so bad that it's actually a shame I didn't die but personally I am extremely happy to be alive to listen to this record and indeed all the sounds the world has to offer. Also the hospital (the RVI Newcastle) didn't have any turntables on the ward so I had to listen to the youtube rip. I remember thinking that whoever ripped it hadn't set up their turntable properly as the nurse wheeled me down to the theatre. That last sentence is a lie but the rest of the stuff above that is true.

it's really hard to produce something so well balanced, this is going to be a timeless record

"It takes time" is really special, a bit clumsy and deep at the same time. Great track.

Fantastic release again from the Wania crew. Snap it up before the sob stories ensue.

Hello Warius( http://www.discogs.com/user/Warius )You have posted several comments on "skipping" records and "bad pressings" earlier (incl. the above listed Wania release). Maybe you should learn how to use a record player, the nature of weight and needles/systems being worn out before posting false information about releases being pressed badly.Clearly you don't know much about pressing, and even playing back vinyl records(!), but still you feel the urge to give releases a bad reputation.Consider changing your needles, also adjusting the weight, and even trying out the anti-skate knob.Referring to the following comment below:Warius - September 26, 2014"Seems like something is off with the pressing of the B side. With my copy there is some distortion on every chord stab, not the good kind. Now I'm listening to it, some skipping on the A side too btw. Fuck."

Thank you for your post. I have commented on an issues I had with a record 3 or 4 times. Because I found it weird these records show an issue allways and at the same moment when I played them, while I have dozens of records, new and 40 years old and in worn condition, that dont give me that issue at all. I am not the self absorbed douche you think I am; of course it occured to me that I could be doing something wrong so I made sure as possible it wasnt me: I re-read the manual with my pro-ject record player, adjusted the weights, experimented after watching tutorials, and double checked the records on another turntable as well. I have never written that there was a "bad pressing", never blamed a release. It was my intention to check with people if they had the same experience, so if not, I would be able to rule out it was the record. I apologize for the fact that it looked like something else.

Great record on both sides!

Like marcpinol suggested, add more weight to your turntable's tonearm. :)
hardy
Add more weight, it worked for me.
Ballalune

Agreed with the sentiments mentioned here, best Tags-related record in a long time, which I guess is about a month or two. Strong, deep tracks by two great producers. Pick this one up.

top quality record - paranoid workout up top, which sounds great pitched up, whilst 'it takes time' is on a chilled tip - sounds great pitched down! grab this one before it gets expensive..

it's all about AU track, brilliant 12''!
